Meet Dalma, this week’s KAPTAR face, who works as a freelancer in graphic design and social media management.
“Currently, I work as a graphic and UX/UI designer and do social media marketing. Besides that, I started a project called Get Your Brand Together, where I lead workshops and give consulting, to help new companies building their marketing strategy and corporate design.
I had all kinds of jobs in the last years, and I tried many things, but somehow I couldn’t find myself anywhere. For me, it’s important to be in a great team and to do what makes me happy. And I’ve always been searching for that elsewhere, but then I realized, that it’s easier to create it myself. So I became a freelancer and got into the KAPTÁR community.”
Your most important life experience, since you became a freelancer?
To only accept jobs, where I can 100% identify myself with. If I have just the slightest doubts or a weird feeling, then I shouldn’t take it, since small issues, in the beginning, can become huge problems later. So if it’s not a „HELL YES!“ then it’s a “FCK NO!“. 😀
What’s most exciting about new challenges?
I could say that I’m searching for challenges because they make me develop and learn new things. And that’s how I keep my days exciting. For me, it’s very important to constantly have something that maintains my interest. Otherwise, I easily get bored by monotony.
What did you hate most about working at home?
I’m a very social person, so after a while, it’s pretty demotivating for me to be at home, all alone, plus the lack of movement makes me tired. KAPTÁR was a perfect solution for me. I can work relaxed, but when I’m in the mood for talking I can do that as well.
