I’m location independent since 2015, having worked remotely from 20+ countries around the world. I work as a full-stack web developer, but the thing I love the most is writing fiction. That’s what I do whenever I have free time and don’t feel too lazy or anxious or tired or drunk or other funny things. I mostly write in Russian, as this is my native language (I’m from St Petersburg), but the English version is coming soon.
What is your most important life lesson, since you became an entrepreneur/freelancer?
Speak with actual customers and keep it simple, stupid.
What are you most proud of in your life?
That I didn’t settle down with my 5/8 job, bought a one-way ticket to Bali and created a video game there because I wanted to.
What is the best part of your job?
That I can work remotely from almost any part of the world. It’s such a game-changer. I’m so lucky to be alive now, not anytime before.
Why did you choose KAPTÁR?
I chose KAPTÁR because my location-independent US friend recommended it. I’m in Budapest for just 3 weeks. I came here because Nomadlist and my friends have recommended me this city and boy, I must say I’m not disappointed. The city is very livable and is definitely one of the best European cities I’ve been to so far.
