There are plenty of articles on the internet about how to get your week/day off to a good start. We gathered what WE think is worth paying attention to, and where KAPTÁR can also help you!
1, Planning ahead
We say nothing new about how much forethought matters. Opinions are divided on whether you should plan your next week on a Friday afternoon, weekend, or Monday morning, but it is surely useful sometimes. On the day that works best for you, set a 20-minute timer when you only focus on your next week. Think about what deadlines you have, what you have to deliver, what meetings are waiting for you – for which, if you book a meeting room, you don’t have to run around with a laptop 1 minute before the call to see if there is a free corner where no one bothers you.
It’s good to think through your day! The great advantage of the KAPTÁR, can also be sometimes its downside: people. There are some days when a long time not seen but a much-loved person arrives every hour, and it’s extremely difficult to concentrate on work. However, if you know that you’re only an hour or two away from a conversation without remorse, it’s much easier to focus on your work and then focus on the long time not seen acquaintance. If you need to be without any distraction, choose our Focus room or FIXIE spaces, where no one will bother you!
2, Sometimes it’s good to break a good routine
We can save a lot of energy on our own if instead of running pro-con tests in our heads before making any decision, we have routines that help us focus on the things that matter. But often just because you break a routine an unexpected idea comes to your mind! You don’t have to think about big things, it’s enough to give the brain a little new stimulus – e.g. you put a different taste coffee capsule in the machine, or you just sit down to a different table than what you are used to. If you’ve never sat by the window, try it and see how more light affects you! If you’re not used to sharing a table with others, sit there and see what it brings out of you when you see them working next to you! Maybe try what it’s like to write that email while standing and not leaning back on the couch.
3, Clothes don’t make a man. Does it?
In the morning (or even the night before) think about what will be waiting for you and choose what you are wearing accordingly. You can come to KAPTÁR in anything! Moreover, you can change clothes here, refresh yourself in the shower in the basement, and you can conveniently store your clothes in the lockers. So if you have an important meeting and want extra confidence, dress elegantly and radiantly. But if you just need to be able to relax and not get tense all day, feel free to change over to sweatpants! You will sit and work differently, people will have a different approach depending on what you wear. Use it!
4, Celebrate your success!
Many advise that it is worth starting the day with the worst task so as not to push any further, while others believe that it is worth starting with something easy to have a sense of success right away. Whichever is closer to you, no matter how much success you achieve during the day, you will always find someone here to celebrate with! Get a delicious coffee here or a slice of cake from Basil Ica bar, maybe a few kind words, a hug! Moreover, we are happy to share it with the world, let everyone rejoice! Work is better with a smile after the celebration together!
5, Drinking does help!
Several weekly planners highlight the importance of proper meals. However, what is even more important is how much we drink! And now we are not thinking of Friday night beers, but daytime water! At least 2.5-3 liters of water a day is needed for the brain (and the whole body) to function properly! Bring a jug of water to your table so you can easily keep track of how much you drank! We set up water for every meeting room booking, and we never sit down without a jug of water to work to make sure we drink enough.
